UPDATE: Russian ministry denies explosion at Coca-Cola’s Moscow plant

(Adds comments in last paragraph)

MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Emergency Ministry has denied media reports of an explosion at U.S.-based soft drink producer Coca-Cola’s plant in western Moscow, a representative of the ministry’s local branch told PRIME on Thursday.

“We have reached the administration, everything is operating as usual,” the representative said.

Some media reported earlier that explosion took place at the facility injuring three people.

The ministry has uncovered small damages of the plant’s non-load-bearing walls while inspecting the facility and are currently trying to find the reason.
